Tiffany & Co released a new RUBEDO™ metal which is said to capture the rose luminescence of a sunrise and glow on the skin. It will be available in a limited edition series of Tiffany 1837™ designs hallmarked with founder Charles Lewis Tiffany’s signature. This special release is in the honor of the 175th anniversary of their founding. The designs are gorgeous, rose toned that are very fitting with the current rose gold trend and look so pretty especially for Spring and Summer. I love that Tiffany released something new like this. I personally like to work with alternative materials which is the reason I started creating designs with argentium silver which is like sterling silver except it’s hypoallergenic and tarnish-resistant making the jewelry easier to take care of with less polishing and cleaning compared to traditional sterling silver.

Pantone’s Colors for Spring 2012

The hottest colors for spring from Pantone are Tangerine Tango, Solar Power and Sodalite Blue. Tangerine tango is a gorgeous orange color that is a great pop of color to add to any outfit. It really brightens the look. I love designing with orange and have some gemstones that I’m currently working with that are this gorgeous shade. Solar Power is a beautiful yellow that is currently also seen in beauty products right now ranging from eye shadows to lipsticks and lipglosses. Chanel’s Las Vegas cosmetic collection features this type of shade beautifully. The sodalite blue is a beautiful navy blue. Blue is one of my favorite colors and I love designing jewelry dark blue colors. A perfect necklace to embrace is trend is this gorgeus blue sapphire necklace. Every woman needs a sapphire necklace that can be worn to any occasion and this necklace is perfect for that.

Other colors in the Pantone’s Spring 2012 color palette are, Bellflower which is lilac, Cabaret which is hot pink, Sweet Lilac which is baby pink, Margarita which is soft green, Driftwood which is grey, Starfish which is beige and Cockatoo which is beautiful turquoise. All these colors are so beautiful and I’m using most of them in my designs that I’m working on currently.

I recently was able to purchase some Fair Trade paper beads imported from Uganda as well as hand painted ceramic beads from Kenya, Africa. These fair trade beads are handmade by women and by making these beads, the women earn fair wages, giving them a chance to better their lives. I’m so excited to be able to help these women by using these beads in my designs. New Years Resolutions – She Rocks Fitness

The new year is upon us and it’s time for new year’s resolutions. I actually stopped making resolutions years ago because I never could stay on track. For that reason, my new years resolutions started early last year, when I started going to the gym regularly before the holidays. I figured that this way I could prevent the few pound gain over the holidays and eat what I wanted without worrying too much. A friend of mine got me going to this new workout place and it’s the best workout I’ve ever done. It gives FAST results and it’s only 35 minutes long. Being a mother of 3 children, it’s hard for me to find the time to exercise and this workout is perfect for me. The place is called She Rocks Fitness in Huntington Beach, CA. Michael, the owner, and Kimberly are the best instructors. They keep you motivated and know just how to push you to keep going when all you can think about is stopping. She Rocks Fitness is women only place which is what I prefer. I like working out with other women who have the same goal in mind and just when you think you want to quit, you won’t, because someone next to your isn’t either. I have no affiliation with She Rocks Fitness other than I’m a happy customer who is fitting better in my skinny jeans and feeling stronger than I have in years. I’m finally getting my core back to being strong again after having my children. I can’t rave enough about She Rocks Fitness, it has done wonder’s for my body and I highly recommend the place if you live nearby. There is no reason to waste time at a typical gym when you can do this workout and get results way faster. I used to go to the gym so I’ve done both. Nothing compares to this bootcamp type kettle bell workout. Kettle bells are the trend now because they have proven to give results way better than traditional weights do. Best Cupcakes In Newport Beach, CA

I was out shopping with my daughter today and ended up going to Casey’s Cupcakes in Fashion Island, Newport Beach. I ended up tasting the dark chocolate cupcake and I have to say it was the best tasting cupcake I’ve had. I’m not a big fan of cupcakes but this was really was worth eating. If you are ever in Newport Beach, I highly recommend checking out Casey’s Cupcakes. My 5-year old daughter even said that it was the best cupcake she was ever had. I also loved the pink decorations in the store. The cupcake container was so cute and had a mention of being Cupcake Wars “Walk of Fame” Winner 2011. I watched the Cupcake Wars show with my daughter but must have missed this episode with Casey’s Cupcakes.
